Bring your photo I.D. and vote. There will be six (6) touch screen machines and one (1) regular voting “box”. The touch screen machine will let you preview your ballot and print it and then you put it into the ballot box.

ABSENTEE VOTING –
Voting absentee IN PERSON – Voters may cast an absentee ballot at the Clay County Election Board Office, 100 West Mississippi, in Liberty Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00 through Nov. 5th
The Clay County Annex,1901 NE 48th Street,will be available for absentee voting Monday, October 29th – Friday Nov 2nd.
Both locations will be open for absentee voting Saturday, Nov 3rd 9:00 – 1:00.
Voting absentee BY MAIL – Requests for absentee ballots to be mailed to you must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31st. Your ballot envelope must be NOTORIZED. Unless, if you check the box for a disability making it difficult to get to the polls or stand in line, etc. If reading English is difficult for you, check the disability box as well. Then you simply vote, put the ballot into the envelope, no stamp required, and mail it.
