Kansas Unemployment
Updated On: Jul 21, 2021

Brother & Sisters,

Anyone receiving Kansas unemployment make sure to check your email, spam/junk and snail mail for information and instructions to changes in these benefits.

Kansas unemployment has made changes to their system. Due to House Bill 2196, anyone that has claimed 3 weeks of benefits may receive an email or

letter in the mail directing them to sign up for My Reemployment Plan (MRP). Union members are excluded from this, but still need to reply to the email.

If you receive an email, reply with the information they request, and you will be directed to the My Reemployment Plan Program. When you get to this

page, scroll down and click on Job Search Plan Online Form. Fill out all of the information and check the box asking if you are a union member. After completing

this form, you should be good to go.

If and when you receive this letter or email it is TIME SENSITIVE! Lack of urgency on your part will cause a lapse in benefits.

For any questions, call the Hall.
