The Telephone Communications Act (TCPA) is implementing requirements for the recipient to opt-in to all text messages. Starting January 31, 2024, only recipients who have opted in will receive text messages through Working Systems Communications bulk texting service.

The Union Hall utilizes bulk texting to inform and effectively reach the membership.  The text may include General meeting information, special event notifications, scholarship information, and more. 

Bulk texting from the hall is a low-cost and effective way to communicate with our members and saves thousands of dollars a year.  When sending out a notification to the membership via paper form it takes several days to complete and thousands of dollars in paper, envelopes, labels, and postage.  The bulk text that is used to communicate with the membership is only $30 a month and only takes a couple of minutes to complete.
