Brothers and Sisters please come and join us as we help our local Boy Scout facilities. We’re looking for volunteers that are willing to spend a little time helping out to support our Boy Scouts. Those of you that know this facility know who they are and what they teach our children, friends, and family about life and the things we will encounter along the way. This particular facility is home to over 6,600 Boy Scouts and 3,000 leaders each summer. The 4,200-acre reservation consists of three camps Lone Star, Sawmill, and Piercing Arrow and the Osage Wilderness Trail. The H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation has been a summer home to Scouting and its leadership development program, the Tribe of Mic-O-Say since 1929. You couldn’t even imagine the difference you can make by spending part of your day to make this facility a safer and more up to date establishment for the kids. The Work Day will be Saturday, April 7th and it will start @ 7am. Everyone should meet at the Lone Star Dining Hall. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We need volunteers!! Make sure you don’t forget your hand tools. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Brother Matt Terryberry @ (816) 286-6358 or contact BJ Straw @ (417) 646-8115. Thank You Brothers and Sisters! Have a great Weekend!!!
